my theory about river and clara…thoughts?
i have a theory and as sure as i am that it is probably 99% wrong, im going to run with it because it appeases my whouffle feels. i think river and clara are the same person. how else could they have a mental link that strong? why else did madame vastra look so weird when river and clara were in the same room for the first time? why else did river look like a train had hit her when she saw clara for the first time. i think rory and amy’s baby was the new incarnation of clara meant to save the doctor just like river did at the library. it only makes sense that amy would have a baby that would save the doctor if that baby had been saving the doctor since the beginning. we dont know how river looked like before she was rory and amy’s childhood friend so im going to go ahead and say she looked like clara.
the bond between clara and eleven is unbreakable. she’s HIS clara. i think it only makes sense that he ends up marrying her. river has never said “spoilers” about something not related to their story as a couple so WHY would she say it when he asks why they’re still linked after clara has gone into his timeline. THEY’RE ONE AND THE SAME!!!!
which means as much as i hate river, my eleven/clara otp might have a chance of actually being together if my theory is correct. i hope im righttttt.
